ActiveTab Justification:

Tooly requires the activeTab permission to access and analyze the current webpage's content when the user activates the extension. This is necessary to detect the technologies used on the site and provide accurate information about the tech stack.


Scripting Justification:

The scripting permission is required to inject and run content scripts on the active tab. These scripts are essential for detecting and identifying the various technologies and tools used on the website being analyzed.


Host Permission Justification:

Tooly does not require broad host permissions. It only accesses the active tab when the user initiates the analysis, ensuring user privacy and limiting data access to only when necessary."

Am I using remote code? No. All code for Tooly is contained within the extension and runs locally in the user's browser. No remote code is executed.


What user data do you plan to collect from users now or in the future?


Tooly does not collect, store, or transmit any user data. All analysis is performed locally in the user's browser, and no information about the user or the websites they visit is sent to any external servers. We have no plans to collect user data in the future. The extension operates entirely offline, prioritizing user privacy and data protection.
